The Madden Bowl XVII will be held at the massive Glass Cactus Nightclub on Lake Grapevine on February 3 at 9:00pm. For the first time in the history of this very popular annual Super Bowl event, it will be televised live on ESPN3.com.
Madden Bowl XVII is hosted by EA Sports and NFL Players. The broadcast will feature red carpet and live action from the tournament that will feature the new format of players from three NFL teams and an All-Madden team of past participants competing in Madden NFL '11 on Playstation 3.
The teams are as follows:
All-Madden Team: Last year's runner-up 49ers Patrick Willis and two former Madden Bowl champions, Colts Dwight Freeney and Ravens Willis McGahee.
Dallas Cowboys: America's team will be represented by Miles Austin, Jason Witten and DeMarcus Ware.
New Orleans Saints: Madden NFL cover athlete Drew Brees, Reggie Bush and Chase Daniel.
Jacksonville Jaguars" Led by reigning Madden Bowl champion Maurice Jones-Drew, Kirk Morrison and Marcedes Lewis.
The evening will also feature performances by Grammy nominees Big Boi and Cee Lo Green. Other NFL stars scheduled to attend include Michael Vick, Jeremy Maclin, Larry Fitzgerald, Reggie Wayne and Chad Ocho Cinco.
