Drake and Lil Wayne's Super Bowl parties in Dallas

Posted 7:25am on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2011

Grammy nominated actor and singer Drake was all the talk of the NBA All-Star Game party scene a year ago as his party with LeBron James at AMPM Lounge was the hottest ticket of the weekend. This year is apparently no different, as once again, you hear the question: where Drake is hosting his Super Bowl party?

Here's the scoop: For Super Bowl XLV, Drake will host Young Money Takeover Part 1 at Escapade 2009 in Dallas on February 4. Part II of the Young Money Takeover will feature Grammy award winner Lil Wayne on February 5. To wrap up the epic weekend, Drake AND Lil Wayne will host the Super Bowl after party Young Money Finale on February 6. This 40,000 square foot venue has multiple levels, including sky lounges , VIP lounges and an enormous stage and is set to hold over 3,000 people.

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
