Mark Cuban throwing a Super Bowl party in Victory Park

Posted 2:53pm on Monday, Jan. 17, 2011

UPDATE: Cuban's party will be headlined by Usher and will be invitation-only, although he'll be giving some tickets away. Follow the latest on his Twitter feed.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is planning a HUGE Super Bowl XLV party at Victory Park in Dallas on Saturday February 5 beginning at 9:00pm. It is going to be hosted by HDNet and the talent from the network's shows and DIRECTV along with Mark Cuban and DIRECTV CEO Mike White.

With Mark Cuban, fresh off his run as the scene-stealing guest star on last season's Entourage, one can only imagine the A-list celebrities that will drop by the billionaire's bash! No word yet on whether Tequila Avion will have a presence or if Turtle and Alex will be using Vincent Chase's Twitter to promote any secret ways to get into the party. The event will take place in a special party center on a stage specifically built for this bash.

While this party is invitation only, don't forget that the Penthouse Magazine's Super Pets Party is taking place at the same time in nearby American Airlines Center, so this will be one of the hottest scenes in all of DFW.

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
