As we learned a year ago when the NBA All-Star Game came to DFW, the party landscape changes minute-to-minute as events are added and dropped based on which celebrity can be secured and which venue is available. Another thing we learned during last year's blizzard conditions was that if celebrities and beautiful girls are in the house, people will come. Now all that is left is to do is get the scoop on where to go to see the hottest events. Or, as this is the first Super Bowl in DFW, which are the parties to see and be seen?
Annually, Playboy and Maxim battle it out for the best bash. The Playboy party will be Friday, Feb. 4, at the Aloft Hotel in downtown Dallas. Maxim's event is slated for Saturday evening inside Centennial Hall at Fair Park. And don't forget to check out GQ and its multiple parties at Land Co/7 Senses in Dallas Design District.
Sports Illustrated is hosting its party in Dallas at the Tower Building in Fair Park while ESPN The Magazine's NEXT bash is slated to take place as a private red carpet event at River Ranch in the Stockyards in north Fort Worth.
The Sports Illustrated B4 party is scheduled for Friday night and is promoting the Black Eyed Peas as its hosts. That means it will be going directly against The Event, featuring Prince, which will be held at the spot formerly occupied by Reunion Arena, the Pamela Anderson Super Bash at the Fashion Industry Gallery and the Leather & Laces party at Hotel ZaZa.
One thing is for certain, this is destined to be the biggest party week in the history of DFW!
