Just across the transom from the good folks at the NFL: The line-up for the opening night of the Pepsi Super Bowl Fan Jam Concert Series has been finalized. Kid Rock will headline the Verizon Theater in Grand Prairie Feb. 3, joined by Duran Duran and Jason Derulo. The entire concert series will take place at Verizon; the following night is set aside for the NFL Pepsi Musica Super Bowl Fiesta, a Hispanic-themed evening of music (the line-up for that night is still being finalized).
Tickets for the opening night of the SBFJCS (as we'll abbreviate it) go on sale via Ticketmaster tomorrow; ducats will run you $45-$60 and the show kicks off at 7 p.m. According to the NFL, each night will feature celebrity hosts, guest appearances from NFL players and, as an added bonus, VH1 will be broadcasting part of Thursday night's show live.
