Win free tickets to the Kimbell's Maya exhibit

Posted 3:14pm on Thursday, Sep. 23, 2010

If you want to get your Maya on, but you can't make it to Day in the District on Saturday, we have a contest to help defray your cost. Enter and you could win passes to the Kimbell Art Museum's current exhibit, "Fiery Pool: The Maya and the Mythic Sea." The exhibit, which runs through Jan. 2, 2011, is regularly $12.

All you have to do for a chance to win is shoot an e-mail to tickets@dfw.com. Please include your name and a working e-mail address, and type "Maya" in the subject line to be eligible. Winners will be chosen at random, and will be notified via e-mail. Deadline is 10 a.m. Wednesday. One entry per e-mail address, please. You must live in the DFW area to win; employees of McClatchy Co. are not eligible.

Remember me

We now have a new, simpler way for you to enter and search for events, at listings.dfw.com. As always, when you submit an event to appear online, it will also be available for us in our print publication. But now you can simply enter your event and provide an email address, rather than creating a separate account and registering. Our new listings tool is still a work in progress, so we appreciate your patience as we fine-tune it. Please contact us at hsvokos@dfw.com if you have any questions or concerns.
