Just verified a tip that Skip Cheatham, morning personality and longtime program director at hip-hop/R&B station KKDA/104.5 FM "K104," is out. Michael Erickson, operations director for K104 parent Service Broadcasting, says that Cheatham is no longer with the station, and that a new morning-show host will be announced with in a week. Erickson says that the a national search is on for a new program director.
Jaan McCoy, longtime morning personality/program director for adult standards/oldies KAAM/770 AM "Legends 770," is also out. Station execs were unavailable for comment. Trying to track down McCoy. Here's what AllAccess has to say on on the matter, which really isn't more than I have to say.
