Starting next week, Rahr & Sons Brewing Co. will hold its Wednesday and Saturday public tastings for the first time since a Feb. 12 snowstorm collapsed the Fort Worth's microbrewery's roof, damaging brewing equipment and destroying the bottling line.
Rahr began shipping six-packs several weeks ago but had not been able to hold public functions until code inspectors gave final approval, the company said Friday.
On Wednesday, Rahr will celebrate the end of its long struggle with an English-style pale ale called Blind Salamander and food prepared by Chadra Mezza Grill from 5 to 7 p.m. Admission is $7.
Saturday tours and tastings will be held from noon to 3 p.m. with a $7 dollar charge for a logo glass.
