Stockyards shootout
You meant to go to the Stockyards all summer. Now, before it ends, witness a weekend shootout at Stockyards Station. On Saturday and Sunday, you can watch -- safe and sound -- while the Legends of Texas entertainment group stages a sudden, dramatic gunfight twice a day. (They start just after the Fort Worth Herd makes its twice-a-day ramble down Exchange Avenue.) It's just like the Wild West, except everybody goes home alive. Weekend gunfights continue through Labor Day weekend.
