One of the best things about NX35 (over, say, SXSW) is the proximity of venues altogether. (Sorry, but hiking up and down Red River and then trying to make it over to La Zona Rosa ain't close proximity.) It made for an easy night of hopping between showcases, and allowed for a quicker sampling of all the music this "conferette" had to offer. Fergus & Geronimo, one of Denton's buzzier exports, held it down at Hailey's for a pretty healthy-sized crowd.
