Paul Greco, the guest curator for this show at Gallery 414, was advised by well-meaning family members that to be successful he had to paint watercolors of bluebonnets.
Well, he didn't, he wouldn't, and he put together an exhibit of like-minded artists who eschew pretty subjects and seek out interesting ones -- Charles Coldewey, Kazuko Goto, Erin Guy, Tesa Morin, Dan Tossing and Erik Tosten.
