Throw on some green, grab your shillelagh and raise a glass to toast St. Patty's Day.
Dancing
leprechaun
Oh, you'll be dancing, and shortly after you'll be passed out.
1 1/2 ounces Irish whiskey
3/4 ounces Scotch whisky
3/4 ounces lemon juice
Ginger ale
Shake ingredients with ice. Strain into a glass with ice cubes, and garnish with a twist of lemon.
Mix tip: Unless you want hair on your chest, I would double the lemon juice and ginger ale.

Irish coffee
This coffee with a kick will keep the party going all night long.
Fill an Irish coffee glass with very hot water to preheat, then empty. Pour hot coffee into glass to about 3/4 full. Drop in 2 cocktail sugar cubes; stir until sugar is thoroughly dissolved. Add full jigger of Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey for proper taste and body. Top with a collar of lightly whipped cream by pouring gently over a spoon. Enjoy while piping hot.
Mix tip: I may be committing a faux pas, but whipped cream from a can will do, too.

All Irish black and tan
What's better than beer? Beer with beer.
Fill a pint glass with Smithwick's just over halfway. Place a teaspoon on the back of the pint glass and fill the remainder with Guinness by pouring it slowly over the back of the spoon. Stop pouring just short of the rim.
Mix tip: None. This combo is pure perfection.
