After nearly 20 years together, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn announced last August that after one final arena tour, which brings them through Dallas in May, they would go their separate ways. But it's not as though they fell out of favor. According to an Aug. 9, 2009, Yahoo! article, Brooks & Dunn are the bestselling duo, in any genre, in the SoundScan era, with more than 22 million units moved. Add to that several trophy cases' worth of industry prizes -- Grammys, CMAs, even a People's Choice Award -- and you've got one of Nashville's brightest stars going dim at the end of this year. Tickets for the pair's farewell performance in Dallas go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at all Ticketmaster outlets.
