At the end of last month, Evanescence began work on its third album. Normally, I'd glaze right over that news, except for this report from Rolling Stone. According to the music mag, multi-hyphenate Dallas musician Will Hunt (who has worked with such local luminaries as Fort Worth's the Burning Hotels and Dallas' Odis) is co-writing the new songs with frontwoman Amy Lee. The record, produced by Steve Lillywhite, is the band's first in four years. [Note: As has been pointed out to me by the fact-checkin' masses, Hunt hails from Fort Worth, although his Spaceway Studios is based in Big D.]
