2010 Year of the Tiger

Chinese New Year was the 14th, but it's still not too late to welcome in the Tiger. The Crow Collection After Dark: Chinese New Year celebration features a glow-in-the-dark dragon and lion dance parade on Flora Street, plus a kung-fu showcase, music, arts and crafts. There's also music from the Four Seasons Choral Society and Chinese Orchestra, and a food tasting from the Royal Chinese Restaurant, starting at 9 p.m.

'Copenhagen'

2This Michael Frayn Tony Award winner is da bomb. It's set in the '40s at a time when two really smart physicists -- Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg -- were just on the brink of inventing the atomic bomb. The play takes a look at their friendship, which comes to an end after a secret meeting.

Fearless Film Festival

7This local fest's goals are "to enthuse, confuse, stir, and inspire its audiences through the exposure to underground and innovative short films that are rarely seen." We're down with that, so we'll give you a heads-up on a few Fearless factors: First, if you're interested in submitting a film for next year's fest, yourdeadline is March 15. Next, you can catch winners of last year's festival Feb. 24 at Lola's. They include Icky Twerp: The Electronic Baby Sitter (Best Documentary), by Richard Kent of Dallas; and Gillface (Best Student Film), by David McGinnis of Arlington.

The 75-year-old Frankie Valli is still at it, bringing his classics (and as much of his falsetto as he can still hit) to his upcoming visit with the Four Seasons at Bass Hall. UPDATE: THE SHOW HAS BEEN POSTPONED. Officials with Performing Arts Fort Worth on Friday morning were working on details of rescheduling the show and are expected to make an announcement later in the day.
