Sarah Jaffe confirms album release

Sarah Jaffe is busy opening for Midlake in Europe at the moment, but will release Suburban Nature, her first full-length album, in May on Dallas' Kirtland Records. Produced by the ubiquitous John Congleton, Nature follows her 2008 EP Even Born Again. "The EP has a very stripped-down minimal vibe; it’s an honest introduction," said Jaffe in a statement. "With Suburban Nature, I wanted to stay true to what each song sounds like live, but add some layers." The album's first single, Vulnerable, is available on iTunes now, along with a Working For a Nuclear Free City remix of Two Intangibles Can't Be Had. Jaffe's next NTX performance will be at NX35.
