If you think you need to go to New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras, guess again. You don't even need to go as far as Galveston (www.mardigrasgalveston.com), though it's probably the best-known in the state for such a party. There's revelry all over North Texas: the country-music Mardi Gras Texas Style at Dallas' Fair Park on Saturday, with 20 bands (including Eli Young Band and Jason Boland) on four stages; Oak Cliff Mardi Gras featuring a parade through Dallas' Bishop Arts District at 4 p.m. Sunday; and Fat Tuesday at the Mansion, a party featuring Brave Combo at Fort Worth's Stonegate Mansion on Feb. 16.
