An Acoustic Evening with Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson
This concert helps extend the precedent established last year when country music icons Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson staged their first-ever joint concert. These legends of country music -- whose individual résumés burst with years of award-winning music making, with producing such country-music monster hits as For the Good Times and Help Me Make It Through the Night, -- will bring almost 50 years of hits and road-tested stories to Bass Hall. Some Enchanted Evening with Broadway's Leading Man: Brian Stokes Mitchell
Brian Stokes Mitchell is a Tony-winning actor who comes to Fort Worth riding a popularity wave, thanks to his special televised concert with the National Symphony Orchestra and his teaming with Reba McEntire at Carnegie Hall for a performance of South Pacific.
