Here's our critic's Oscar wish list:

Best picture: Inglourious Basterds, because blue aliens are boring.

Best actor: Jeremy Renner, because everyone loves an upset, and he's the most underrated actor of his generation -- see 2002's Dahmer for proof.

Best actress: Gabourey Sidibe, because the only person more overexposed than Meryl Streep is Sandra Bullock.

Best supporting actor: Christoph Waltz, because he's awesome.

Best supporting actress: Mo'Nique, because she's awesome.

Best director: Quentin Tarantino, because they still owe him for Pulp Fiction.
