North Texas rockers The Bright are making a name for themselves on a series of MTV shows.
NTX indie pop outfit The Bright keeps its MTV streak alive with yet another placement, this time on the "supernatural mystery" series Valemont. According to a statement from the network, "the show is a first of its kind, with the episodes actually being 'mini- episode pods' around two minutes in length and being broadcast across many platforms including the traditional MTV network, online at MTV.com and across Verizon’s V-Cast network." So, there's that.
The Bright's song Cut Me Loose (from its full-length In Lucid Dreams) appeared in the 10th episode, titled Take-Out Date (see below), and is also available for fans to download here. This marks the fifth placement The Bright has enjoyed on MTV; the sextet journeys to Los Angeles next week for an industry showcase and will be a part of Big D NYE in Victory Park next month.
