If you could see us now, you'd be witnessing a small group of professionals singing a tortured but impassioned medley of American Woman, These Eyes, No Sugar Tonight, Undun and Share the Land. Frankly, we didn't even know we knew so many hits by The Guess Who.
The Canadian classic rockers are performing Friday at Spencers Corner near Ridgmar Mall as part of Renegade Rockfest 2009. The event is sponsored by Renegade Cycles, and benefits Childrens Charities Of Fort Worth. The event features two other bands: Ashmore and Rabbit's Got the Gun, who go on at 6 and 7:30 p.m. respectively. Headliners The Guess Who take the stage at 9:30.
Tickets are $25 in advance; $35 at the gate.
