The month of August will feature not one, but two high-profile local releases for the Fort Worth scene. The Burning Hotels drop their eagerly anticipated debut Novels on Aug. 14 and just four days later, on Aug. 18, Telegraph Canyon will offer up its long-awaited sophomore release The Tide and the Current.
The seven-strong outfit will open up for the Old 97's at Bass Hall on Aug. 21 and host an acoustic gig/CD listening party at Lola's Saloon Sixth following the show. Beginning Sept. 4, Chris Johnson and crew set out on a West Coast tour that takes them through California, Colorado, Washington and Oregon.
