Paul McCartney is coming to North Texas.
Paul McCartney is confirmed to play Arlington's Cowboys Stadium on Aug. 19, AEG Live announced Wednesday morning.
The show marks McCartney's first North Texas appearance in four years and will be the only Texas appearance of his 2009 concert schedule.
Tickets ($35-$250) for the Aug. 19 concert go on sale at 10 a.m. July 20 at all Ticketmaster outlets, although American Express cardmembers can purchase advance tickets via Ticketmaster beginning July 13.
McCartney's performance will be the third musical event at the Cowboys' new stadium, following the grand opening appearance of George Strait and Reba McEntire and the Jonas Brothers' world tour kick-off.
