If you're looking for something to occupy your time this evening, why not check out the "Big D Opry," a bi-monthly concert series kicking off at 8 p.m. tonight at Fellowship Dallas (9330 N. Central Expressway). In addition to performances from Grammy winner Bryan White, Star de Azlan and Jolie Holliday, the audience will also have a chance to vote for three finalists out of the crop of local talent taking the stage during the program. One winner will be selected to perform at the next "Big D Opry" shindig on Aug. 27. A portion of tonight's proceeds will benefit Lone Star Dream Foundation, a group that supports arts, music and Texas history education in Texas public schools.
