Terry Chandler's been tapped by the Food Network for a segment on its "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" program.
Hollywood comes calling in January, when it will tape Fred's Texas Cafe owner Chandler, aka The Outlaw Chef, whipping up his special vittles.
The dishes they'll feature aren't yet nailed down, but he submitted to the producer a list that includes his famous burgers and hand-cut fries; tacos and chicken-fried steak; New Mexico-style lamb green chili; one of his Wednesday-night pizzas; calf fries and butter-seared quail; rib eyes; and a number of his phenomenal sauces.
