I just finished reading correspondent June Naylor's review of Chicken Scratch, and I'm ready for a trek to Weatherford tonight. Especially for dessert -- specifically the uber-moist Dr Pepper sheet cake, which she describes as "a charming variation on the old Southern favorite Coca-Cola cake."
