Best Entree Salad

DFW.com

This big, green creation features delicate lettuces and cilantro topped with thin slices of grilled beef

Find it: 703 N. Henderson, Fort Worth; 817- 332-0088

The dish: Among the jewels to treasure at this new upstart near downtown is the spicy, lime-scented yum nur, a big, green creation with delicate lettuces and cilantro topped with thin slices of grilled beef. You’ll almost forget that the place has the leftover Italian décor of the building’s former occupants.

Don't wander away without also trying: Crispy whole red snapper, shrimp spring rolls and pad Thai are just the beginning. Take a crowd, order a raft of goodies and share.

You should know: Vegetarians are catered to, and the kitchen will customize a few dishes for kids, too.

Honorable mentions: Chopped salad topped with grilled beef, La Cubanita, Dallas; Greek salad, Jazz Café
