Where to see fireworks
Fireworks: Here's a roundup of where to see the sky will light up on the Fourth of July.
FRIDAY Light Up Arlington Entertainment: The annual Independence Day celebration will move from Lake Arlington to downtown Arlington this year. Festivities, including live music, children’s activities and vendors, begin at 5 p.m. Friday. Live music at the Levitt Pavilion, across from City Hall, includes the Arlington Community Band, the Quebe Sisters and Fast Ball.
Fireworks: They’ll begin at 9:45 p.m. from atop the eight-story Municipal Office Tower.

Haslet Fireworks Celebration Entertainment: After the fireworks at Nance Field, 503 Schoolhouse Road, will be the showing of Sandlot, the second film in the Movies in the Park Summer Series.
Fireworks: The show begins at sunset at Nance Field and will honor local military families and veterans.

Roanoke’s Come Rock With Us! Independence Day Celebration Entertainment: The festival begins at 6 p.m. and features bounce houses, rock climbing, a giant slide and train rides at Roanoke Community Park, 201 Park Drive. The Party Crashers Band will play 8:30-9:30 p.m. and again 10-10:45 p.m.
Fireworks: The show will begin about 9:30 p.m.

Stars & Stripes in Southlake Town Square Entertainment: Performers in Frank Cornish Park and Rustin Park 5-9:30 p.m. Free activities including face-painting, plus balloon artists and clowns.
Fireworks: A 30-minute show begins at 9:30 p.m. Synchronized music can be heard from Rustin Park and Frank Cornish Park.

SATURDAY Bedford’s 4thFest Independence Day Celebration
Entertainment: A full day of family entertainment with a 1970s theme will include children’s activities, food, live entertainment with the band Hearsay and a fireworks display at the Bedford Boys Ranch Park. The events kick off at noon with the opening of the Splash Aquatic Center.
Fireworks: A fireworks display will begin at 10 p.m.

Burleson’s Independence Day Celebration Entertainment: A 7:30 p.m. concert features Men in Black performing tributes to Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison, at the Hidden Creek Sports Complex, 295 E. Hidden Creek Parkway.
Fireworks: A 20-minute fireworks extravaganza will begin immediately after the concert, choreographed to patriotic music.

Grapevine 26th Annual Fireworks Extravaganza Entertainment: During the fireworks show on the shore of Lake Grapevine, a musical simulcast will be broadcast on KLUV/98.7 FM.
Fireworks: A 30-minute show begins at 9:30 p.m. Viewing is available from various lakeside vantage points as well as several areas throughout Grapevine.

Fort Worth’s Fourth at LaGrave Field Entertainment: A festival featuring live music, bounce houses, pony rides and personal watercraft exhibitions begins at 5:30 p.m. at LaGrave Field, just east of North Main Street on Northeast Seventh Street. At 7:05 p.m. the Fort Worth Cats will play Pensacola.
Fireworks: The fireworks show begins after the game.

Hurst Stars and Stripes
Entertainment: The event at Hurst Community Park begins with a children’s spirit parade at 4 p.m., followed by music beginning at 5:30 p.m. from groups including Johnnie High’s Country Music Revue, King Creole and Emerald City.
Fireworks: A fireworks display will cap off the day’s events beginning at 9:30 p.m.

Quad Cities Family 4th Fireworks Show Entertainment: A concert featuring the Farside Band is 7-9 p.m. at the Wiley G. Thomas Coliseum, 6108 Broadway Ave. in Haltom City.
Fireworks: A 20-minute show begins at 9:30 p.m. Viewing is available from the parking lot at the coliseum and the ATI Training Center, 6351 Boulevard 26 in North Richland Hills.

Mansfield’s Rockin’ Fourth of July Entertainment: The second annual event begins at 6 p.m. at Big League Dreams, 500 Heritage Parkway South, and features live music (Brave Combo and Beatles tribute band Me & My Monkey), bounce houses and other attractions.
Fireworks: Show begins at 9:30 p.m.

Trophy Club 4th of July Celebration Entertainment: A 5K run/3K walk and free pancake breakfast begins at 7 a.m. at the Lake Cities Church of Christ, 280 Indian Creek Drive. At 9:30 a.m., the town’s annual Fourth of July Parade begins at 300 Trophy Club Drive and wends its way through the community, ending at Medlin Middle School. From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., a free cookout will be held at the community pool, 500 Parkview Drive, where parade winners will also be announced. At 6 p.m., the evening festival begins in the pool parking lot. From 6:30 to 9 p.m., the musical group Crawfish will perform on a stage in the pool parking lot.
Fireworks: The show, which is set to patriotic music, begins at 9:15 p.m. Seating is available next to the stage in the pool parking lot. Those with blankets and lawn chairs will have several designated viewing areas where they can set up.
