About the author

Christopher Kelly writes about movies, food, books, art and popular culture for DFW.com. Born in the outer-borough splendor of Staten Island, New York, Chris has long since lost his Sopranos-like accent, but not his love of street festivals or for the 1988 Mike Nichols’ masterpiece Working Girl. He has a secret fondness for VH-1 reality programs and Jay-Z albums.

The Dog Whisperer show at Nokia has been canceled.

Cesar Millan's Packpower Tour just lost two dates, and the Nov. 15 show at Nokia Theatre was one of them. (The other was an L.A. show) A publicist confirmed the cancellation, and Millan's official Web site said it was "due to Cesar’s commitments to charity events."

Refunds for all tickets holders are available at point of purchase.

Millan is aiming to reschedule the Dallas and Los Angeles dates in 2010.
