Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents: All Tchaikovsky
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents: All Tchaikovsky
It has always been a musical match made in heaven: the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra playing pretty much anything by Tchaikovsky. So now get ready for three consecutive concerts of the FWSO filling up Bass Hall with some of the great composer’s most beloved and recognizable music — including the heart-stirring Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture, and the stunning Sixth Symphony. Of special note: The orchestra will be led by one of the country’s few female conductors, Mei-Ann Chen.
7:30 p.m. Friday, 8 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday at Bass Hall, Fort Worth. $9-$78. 817-665-6000; www.fwsymphony.org.
