Fuego was hot; now it's not. Fort Worth restaurant closes

When we were looking at Seventh Street, salivating over the impending openings there (Love Shack, Bailey's Prime, Times Ten Cellars), activity occurred elsewhere. It seems Fuego, which replaced Tim Love's creation called Duce, has closed.

Although it's a wonderfully attractive space in the 6333 Camp Bowie center in Fort Worth's Ridglea neighborhood, it never really took off -- under old or new ownership. I hope a new, simple concept will open there. Perhaps a fabulous breakfast/brunch spot? A super-casual French brasserie? Or something Spanish? Mmmm, the possibilities...
