Titanmoon returns from its overseas adventures

You'll remember a couple months when I caught up with Titanmoon just before the band left for exotic ports of call on the other side of the world. They had an ambitious agenda and good intentions.
The band's manager, Elizabeth, dropped me a line yesterday letting me know that the group had "an amazing time" (seriously, check out their YouTube page) and the band will be opening an orphanage/school in Karachi, Pakistan next year.
"The whole thing went very well and we're already making plans to head back to the same places plus a couple more stops," says Elizabeth.
Although violence in the area caused the cancellation of a few performances and played havoc with flights, Titanmoon was pleased with the results achieved. "The guys are planning a special music program for the children ... and we now have the mayor of Nagaoka, Japan (Fort Worth's sister city) interested in participating in this orphanage," says Elizabeth.
Its previously planned trips to Latin America are on hold until next year. Front man Tyler Casey will make an appearance before the Fort Worth City Council Tuesday to present Mayor Mike Moncrief with a gift from Nagaoka and share stories of how the trip played out. Meanwhile, the band is hard at work on We All See Stars, the follow-up to 2008's Film Black.
