Kelly Clarkson's new single sounds awfully familiar
Kelly Clarkson's latest single echoes Beyonce's 'Halo,' and Clarkson's not happy.

Kelly Clarkson just can't catch a break. Even when things are going (relatively) her way, here comes something that's plagued a lot of artists this year: Whiffs of plagiarism allegations. In this instance, it's not as sordid as all that since the two songs in question -- Clarkson's latest single Already Gone and Beyonce's Halo -- were penned by the same guy, OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder. In this Rolling Stone blurb, the Fort Worth-born singer shares her anger at Tedder and her label, for pressing ahead despite her protestations (sound familiar?).
For a little compare/contrast action, here are both tunes. Reportedly, Clarkson is already tweaking Already Gone to sound drastically different in concert.
