Thursday’s Agenda: Day of the Dead and Halloween celebrations begin with fun, music and more

Day of the Dead

Plan now for the local Día de los Muertos celebrations. In Fort Worth, a puppet procession accompanied by musicians will wend its way from Marine Park to Rose Marine Plaza at 7 p.m. Friday. Monster bash

If you want to have some good scary fun and also help a good cause, attend the Halloween Charity Bash: Nightmare on Campus Drive, tonight at the Tarrant County College South Campus Student Center, 5301 Campus Drive in Fort Worth. There will be treats, games and prizes. 6:30-11:30 p.m. Admission is $5 or five canned food items.

A spooktacular concert

Get into the Halloween spirit with a haunted evening of music presented by the Texas Wesleyan University jazz and wind ensembles. The concert will include popular jazz standards and symphonic music. Families are encouraged to attend, and awards will be given for costumes. 7:30 p.m., Martin Hall, Texas Wesleyan campus. Free. 817-531-4992.
