Monday’s Agenda: Shop to help Camp Fire; choirs at TCU; soup class at Central Market

Shop for Camp Fire

Knock some of those holiday gifts off your list and contribute to a good cause at Autumn Market, hosted by Camp Fire USA Child Care & Development Center. Look for home decor, jewelry, sports tickets and more. The market runs 8 a.m.-5 p.m. through Friday. 817-831-5050 or www.CampFireFWChild.org. It’s at 2700 Meacham Blvd., Fort Worth.

TCU sings up a storm

TCU’ Men’s Choir will be joined by the Women’s Choir to present a joint evening of choral music at PepsiCo Recital Hall, on the campus in Fort Worth. The choirs are scheduled to take the stage for the free concert at 7:30 tonight. 817-257-7341; www.music.tcu.edu.

Soup’s on!

There’s nothing better than a big bowl of steaming soup in the fall. Meredith Deeds, co-author of 300 Sensational Soups (Robert Rose, $24.95), will teach a class on soups at Central Market Fort Worth tonight. Learn to make black bean soup, butternut squash soup, poblano chile soup and more. The class is $70 and takes place 6:30-9 p.m. at 4651 West Freeway. Register: 817-377-9005; www.centralmarket.com.
