In this economy, it's nice to know you can curl up in front of a TV and spend an enjoyable evening without having to burn gas or go broke on a ticket. But there are a lot of shows from which to choose. Too many, some might say.
Star-Telegram TV critic Robert Philpot understands the television landscape better than you or I, so I turned to him to find out what trends defined TV in 2008. And he was kind enough to reveal four of the items on his year-end Top 10 list, including No. 1. The full list will be revealed Dec. 29 in the Star-Telegram and here at DFW.com.
In this audio show, we talk about The CW's "Supernatural" (No. 8), NBC's "30 Rock" (No. 7), the merger of politics and pop culture (No. 4) and what he thinks was the No. 1 series of the year. (And I agree, since it's one of the only shows I watch.)
