Screen test: Be smart, win movie tickets
This week’s question: George Clooney, star of the new movie Men Who Stare at Goats, is the son of former newscaster Nick Clooney and nephew of singer/actress Rosemary Clooney. George also has a famous uncle who made a career as an actor; who is it?
This week’s question: E-mail go@star-telegram.com by noon Monday.
Correct entries become eligible for a drawing for Cinemark movie passes and concession coupons. Please include your name and mailing address. Put "SCREEN TEST" in the subject line. One entry per person. Star-Telegram employees are not eligible.
Last week’s question: Hilary Swank and Richard Gere, left, star in the new bio Amelia, about the pioneer female pilot Amelia Earhart. Aside from co-starring in this film, these two share something else in common —they were accomplished athletes in a particular sport. Swank competed in this sport in the Junior Olympics, and Gere was offered a scholarship to the University of Massachusetts in the same sport. What is the sport?
Answer: Both were good swimmers, but Swank competed in and Gere was offered a scholarship in gymnastics.
The winner: Brittany Doversberger, Lewisville
